Yael stone, a native of New York City based Australian resident, portrayed Lorna Morello on Orange Is the New Black in 2013. Yael was awarded her NIDA degree. Yael's first job has given her to meet and work with some of Australia's best storytellers. Yael has a successful career with a thriving career in Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael has made New York City her home following she was a part of the Brooklyn Academy of Music produced this critically-acclaimed show. Yael was the co-founder of The Cannery. It is based at Bushwick Brooklyn and works in the city to promote the creative process, and to create new writing.
